Job Descriptions
Service Tech
Service Tech needed for our irrigation department. Three to five years service experience in sprinklers, plumbing and low voltage wiring. drivers license is required. Must have trouble-shooting ability, be self motivated, Ability to work on own, Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on knees, able to read a map, and strong communication skills. Installation Crew
Experience is preferred but not necessary, we can train the right person. Ideally we are looking for someone to eventually become our field foreman. This could be a good opportunity for the right person.
If you have installation experience, you pretty much know the drill, we’ll be installing and maintaining irrigation systems and low voltage lighting systems in residential and commercial settings. We use All Irrigation products.
For the inexperienced person the job will involve general installation of irrigation systems and landscape lighting. The work will involve digging, pulling pipe, and installing heads and components. You will be required to learn basic low voltage wiring and how to properly and safely operate construction equipment. You will also need to learn the basics of irrigation principles.
"GPLAWN" values our employee’s and strives to create a positive, fun, and safe working environment. While this can be considered hard work and you will get dirty, working outdoors can be very enjoyable.
The selected candidate will be required to have a vehicle and valid driver’s license. You must also speak fluent English. You will also need to be able to obtain a drivers health card.
