Model PVB Anti-Siphon Pressure Vacuum Breakers prevent backflow of pollutants or contaminated water into the potable water system due to backsiphonage. It consists of bronze body with a silicone rubber check valve disc, stainless steel springs, a ABS corrosion resistant access cover and tee handles or lever handle shutoffs. Model PVB are used in health hazard continuous pressure applications such as irrigation systems in only backsiphonage conditions. Must be installed 12 inches above highest sprinkler head in the system.
